The moment you have access to the inventory system, you’ll be able to find and equip your Dark Arts gear onto your character. This means that you can access The Dark Arts Pack as soon as virtually possible in Hogwarts Legacy. In fact, they are simply transmog items which overlay the current equipment you’re wearing.
That means they don’t have any traits or stats to them. However, these items are just that – cosmetic. During the review process for Hogwarts Legacy, I played the game for a few hours before discovering where exactly to find The Dark Arts pack, which came with the Deluxe Edition game I received. The trailer doesn't go on to offer up many other details about how prominent dark magic will be in Hogwarts Legacy, but this snippet does confirm that players will be able to use these spells if they happen to go "down a dark path.Hogwarts Legacy is now available for Deluxe Edition owners and if you’re playing the game and looking out for all the cool goodies you got for spending the extra cash on it, we have you covered. Specifically, the trailer shows the player using the "killing curse", otherwise known as Avada Kedavra, against an opponent of some sort. Near the end of the aforementioned State of Play presentation that was revealed recently, it was shown that players can use some of the darkest spells that have ever existed in the world of Harry Potter.
